Thomas Edison (1847-1931), described as one of the greatest inventors of all time, with a record of 1093 patents which include numerous patents for inventing electricity & power, light bulb, telegraph, phonograph, storage batteries and even the telephone had numerous challenges and disadvantages...
One of the greatest feats he was able to achieve that most people aren't even aware of was his ability to invent the telephone even though he was deaf.

He was also reported to have had his greatest difficulty in inventing the light bulb.
In an 1890 interview with Harper's magazine, these were his exact words;
"I have constructed three thousand different theories in connection with the electric light, each one of them reasonable and apparently to be true.

Yet only in two cases did my experiment prove the truth of my theory"
The summary of this story is we have only failed in our quest to be successful if we stop trying, if we abandon our dreams, if we lose hope, if we lose faith in ourselves and our abilities..
Cos the truth is, if you want to be truly successful, wealthy and great, failure is a necessity.

Human beings have been programmed to learn from their mistakes. It's only from mistakes that we gain knowledge, experience, then wisdom which now becomes priceless in our handling of future endeavors.

So for those people who feel they are far from achieving their dreams and/or are going through turbulent hardship especially for those feeling the brutal wrath of the Nigerian economy, do not get downcast and feel all hope is lost...instead, learn and find out what we might be doing wrong, and work on doing things right.
 Remain prayerful, focused, committed and hardworking.
"Failure is very easy... just stop trying.
Success is also easy..never give up despite all odds until you achieve your aim!!"
Wish you all a blessed week.
